Five long side connections replaced in Essex
This week our team travelled down to our customers in Southend-on-Sea, Essex where another team was trained to use the KOBUS Pipe Puller. The newly trained team carried out works on the main high street in Thorpe Bay, where 5 long-side connections were replaced in one day.

Piping up for the Environment
The Water Industry has got into the habit of replacing water pipes by either digging a trench or moling a new hole, leaving the old lead pipe in the ground. New pipe removal and replacement system, the KOBUS Pipe Puller, takes a different approach, removing the old pipe and exactly replacing it with the new pipe, enabling the lead removed to be recycled and reused, ensuring that the whole process can actually be carbon positive.
